Editing SEO Content

Updates the title and description that search engines use to rank your pages.

Every page on your site needs a clear title and description. These are what appear in search results.

  1. Identify the page flagged by the audit, or choose a page you want to optimise.
  2. In Edit Mode, find the corresponding content item.
  3. Click the title text directly on the page to update it inline.
  4. To update the tagline, which serves as the page description, click it directly on the page and edit it inline.
  5. Click Save.

A tagline like 'Our services' tells a search engine very little. Write a specific sentence that describes what the page contains and who it is for.

SEO and AEO

Run audits, fix SEO gaps, and make your content answerable to AI assistants.

Editing AEO Content

Makes your content directly answerable to AI assistants and answer engines.

Search is changing. AI assistants do not show a list of links. They read your content and write an answer directly. AEO is about making your content answerable.

  1. Open your audit report and find any AEO gaps flagged.
  2. Each gap is linked to one of six questions: Who, What, Why, When, Where, or How.
  3. Go to the content item the audit flagged.
  4. Open the content manager for that item.
  5. Expand the body content to address the relevant question directly and explicitly.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Run the audit again to confirm the gap is resolved.

Write content that talks directly to the question rather than around it. If the question is How, describe your process step by step. Be direct.
