Visibility

Control what appears on your homepage, navbar, footer, and in search.

Publishing and Unpublishing an Item

The master switch that controls whether an item is visible to visitors.

Publishing is the master switch for any piece of content. Turning it off removes the item from every part of your site instantly without deleting it.

  1. In Edit Mode, click the pencil icon on the section containing the item.
  2. Find the item in the content manager.
  3. Toggle the Published switch off to hide the item, or on to make it visible.
  4. Click Save.

Unpublishing a category hides the entire section and all items inside it. If you only want to hide one item, make sure you are toggling the published switch on that item specifically.

Hiding a Category from the Homepage

Removes a category from the homepage while keeping its page and URL active.

Not every category needs to be a featured section on your homepage. Legal pages, internal notes, and supplementary content need to exist and be reachable but do not belong in your main homepage flow.

  1. In Edit Mode, click the pencil icon on the category you want to hide from the homepage.
  2. Find the Meta toggle and turn it on.
  3. Click Save.

Meta is not the same as Unpublished. Unpublishing a category hides it completely, including its URL. Meta only hides it from the homepage. The page itself stays live.
